What is Search Engine Optimization

Ethical Search Engine Optimization San Diego

Of course only a fraction of the public know what this means. I know this because when people ask what i do and I say either SEO or Search Engine Optimization I get the deer in the headlights look. The I explain how it is a form of marketing where, we reprogram a site to be more organized and look better to the search engines for the relevant results and we build a linking campaign to complete the process.

So basicall we get your site to come up in the top 10 or so of the listings on Google and friends when a potential customer types in a keword or phrase that matches what you do. When you come up at the top of sevral keywords for your industry your traffic goes up and your income should as well. This is diffrent then Pay per click. We will cover PPC and other marketing technique in later posts.

Search Engine Optimization and Online Marketing

Hello and welcome to our new blog on Search Engine Optimization and other online Marketing technique.

I wanted to make the first post practicle advice, as far as what to avoid in the creation of the site with future SEO - Search Engine Optimization in mind,

Some danger areas can be using Frames as the central design of the pages. Frames and iframes are very difficult for the search engines to fully see. If you need frames for the functionality see if the designer can use css or another method to get this look. In most cases a site designed in frames will need to be redesigned before Seo can start.

Another tragic site is a full Flash or Splash page for the design, once again they are difficult if not impossible to do a full Search Engine Optimization.

If you are looking for help on a Web Ecommerece project, I can consult and advise or help to do the work for you. The rates are afforadable and you will be getting the best quality and latest technique on your Search Marketing efforts.
